Register for NEAR’s February Town Hall: ‘NEAR is Global’

NEAR is going global. To celebrate, our Town Hall, taking place on February 25, 9-10:15 AM PT (5-6:15 PM UTC), will be an exploration of the people and places helping the NEAR ecosystem expand in the digital world, and also IRL.

NEAR Foundation CEO Marieke Flament will kick things off by sharing the Foundation’s progress towards bringing the world to Web3. This is followed by NEAR Protocol Co-Founder Illia Polosukhin, who will provide a snapshot of the most exciting trends in the NEAR ecosystem as well as highlights from ETHDenver.

Education, Education, Education

Another big part of this month’s Town Hall will focus on how we’re helping more people learn, build, and create. NEAR Education’s Sherif Abushadi will be showcasing new and improved ways for instructors and students to learn the art of developing on NEAR. He’ll also be sharing insights into NEAR’s global education strategy.

The second edition of NEAR’s MetaBUILD hackathon is underway – and we’ve had nearly 4,000 applicants. Between now and March 3rd, 2022, judges are reviewing submissions. The winners will be announced on March 8th, 2022. Tune in to the Town Hall for more updates.
